PAUL LOGODIN
Mr. Paul William Logodin, age 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Rita Logodin of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Sister Renée Buliard will officiate. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8 from St. Mark Roman Catholic Church by Father Clifford Tremblay. The late Mr. Logodin is survived by his loving family: his wife Rita (nee Gordon); his daughter Janice Jacques of Prince Albert and granddaughter Rachel; his son Jim Logodin of Lethbridge, AB and grandson Dean; his three sisters Adele LaHaye, Therese Holz and Rose Chorney all of Prince Albert as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Alexis and Alice (nee Chester) Logodin; his sister Juliette Logodin; three brothers John (Bertha), Marcel and Peter; three brothers-in-law Frank LaHaye, John Chorney and Alfred Holz. Paul was born on September 11, 1927 in White Star, SK and received his schooling at Red Wing. He married Rita Gordon in 1961 in Prince Albert and has resided here until his passing. He was employed with The Pas Lumber Company, Canadian National Railway for 20 years and Canada Post for 20 years at which time he retired. He was a member of the ANAVETS and the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a gifted carpenter and was always willing to lend a helping hand. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Mont St. Joseph Foundation. Interment will take place in the South Hill Cemetery.
