Passed away on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB at the age of 82. Wife of Everett White of St. Stephen, NB. Survived by her husband of 63 years, four sons, Owen (Doreen) of Fredericton, NB, Benny (Nancy) of St. Stephen, NB, Clayton of British Columbia, and Steven (Shelley) of St. Stephen, NB, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren, two sisters Jule Tubbs of Leverville, NB and Phyllis Beaman (Jack) of Dartmouth, NS, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louella and Hawthorne Greenlaw and her daughter Wanda. Avis loved to play cards, garden and go fishing. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and going camping.
As per Avis' wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Chamcook Chapel of Ease in Chamcook, NB. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
