It is with deepest sorrow the family announce the sudden death of Aaron Peter Paul, 34, of Eskasoni, N.S, which occurred Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.
Born in Boston, Mass., he was the beloved son of Shirley Paul, Boston, Mass.
Aaron was a kind and gentle soul. He loved music and was a very intelligent young man.
He was a student at Nova Scotia Community College Marconi Campus where he was working towards his IT tech certificate.
He had a great love and pride for his native heritage and was a member of the drum group 'Kitpu Singers'. He also had a passion for helping others and giving back to his community and often volunteered at the Eskasoni Food Bank. He loved to visit family and friends, and no matter how hot the weather got, he would always enjoyed a good cup of hot tea.
Besides his mother, Aaron is survived by his sisters, Patricia 'Patti' (Chuck), Charlene, Annie, Maria, Trudy and Natalie; aunts, Alice Francis, Mary Paul-Green (Donnie), Margaret Rose, Judy Sark (Keith), Cecilia Paul; uncles, Allan Paul (Jackie), Goly Paul; nephews, Charles Logan and Liam; numerous cousins and godparents Susan and George Marshall.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Bella Paul, uncle, Allister Paul, aunt, Barbara Cremo and cousin, Lewis.
Aaron will be lovingly missed and remembered by his family and his closest friends, Chuck Johnson, Tim Cremo, Allan Mahoney, Andre Desjardins, Chico, Jay and J.J.; and all those whose hearts and lives he touched. Those who helped him or befriended him in any way, you will always be considered a good friend to him.
Aaron we will miss you, your unique sense of humour and all your stories will be carried with us forever.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at the Eskasoni Gabriel Centre, after 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
