Passed peacefully away at her home in Gander on June 8, 2009, Helen Hogan, age 87, formerly of St. Brendan’s, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by parents: William and Johanna O’Rielly; husband, John P. Hogan; brothers: Thomas, John, Gregory and Leo; sisters: Bridget O’Rielly, Margaret Ryan and Katherine Whelan. Left to mourn with loving memories daughters: Johanna Hogan of Gander, Jacqueline (David) Boulos of Ottawa; grandchildren: Candice, Victoria and Ian (Boulos); brother William and wife Mary O’Rielly of Gander; sister-in-law, Rita O’Rielly of St. John’s and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home in Gander. Visitation Wednesday, June 10, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Gander, on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery, Gander. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
