Norman Weaver of Saint John passed away on October 5th, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital, after a period of declining health. Born on July 1st, 1932, he was a son of the late George and Mildred (Craft) Weaver. Norman worked as a steam ship checker, retiring in 1982. Norman is survived by his children Norman M. Weaver, Christopher Weaver and Patricia Phinney, brother, Donald Weaver, and sister Marjorie O'Toole. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tabitha Marie Doucett, Christopher Keleher, Andrew Weaver, Emily Weaver, Karia Ann Phinney, Patrick Phinney, Laura Phinney, as well as great-grandchildren Logan, Lucas and Aiden. In addition to his parents, Norman was pre-deceased by a son, Ricky, daughter, Kelly, brothers Fred, Kenneth, and Harold, sister Joan, and daughter-in-law Margaret Ann Weaver.
