Twombly (Stretton) Una Ann, 73, of Amherst, NS, formerly of Springhill, NS and Toronto, ON, after a battle with cancer has passed away on October 5, 2010 in the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst.
She will be sadly missed and always remembered by husband Frank; son Michael (Brenda), Springhill; daughters Denise Davis, Ontario, Sheila Johnson, Ontario, and Michelle Twombly, Amherst; sister Sharon Lewis, Amherst. Lots of help and loved by cousin Marilyn LeBlanc, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, Amherst, (902-667-8777). There will be a gathering at the Royal Canadian Legion, Amherst, October 10, 2010. Please join us at the hootenanny starting at 2 pm, all are welcome.
