It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY E. FOOTE REID of Burin announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday September 30, 2010 at the age of 82, after a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband James of 2 ½ years; son Randell (Sandra) Foote of Brooks, AB.; daughter Juanita Foote Schumacher of Burin; sister Evelyn Brenton of St. Lawrence; brother Harry (Olive) Brown of Lewin's Cove; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by son Raymond Foote. Funeral Service took place at the Salvation Army Citadel in Chance Cove on Saturday October 2nd at 2:00pm. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Chance Cove. In Mary's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. No flowers by request of the family.
