The death of Karen Ann Edmonds, wife of David Edmonds, occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at St. John's, NL, on January 31, 1949, she was the daughter of Gordon (June) Campbell of Ottawa, ON and the late, Ethel (House)Campbell. Karen was an avid gardener and loved to play shuffleboard. Survived by her loving husband, David, of forty years; her son, Mark Edmonds of Vancouver, BC; brother, Vaughan Campbell (Janet) of Ottawa, ON; brother-in-law, Cyril Edmonds (Pat) of Moncton, NB; father-in-law, Ed Edmonds (Moncton); nieces, Colleen Edmonds of Halifax, NS, Jennifer Edmonds of Calgary, AB, and Gillian Campbell of Ottawa. Karen was predeceased by her mother, Ethel (House) Edmonds.
At Karen's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424.
