It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifford Caines announce his passing on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 60 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sybil; daughter Jody (Vinc) Perry; grandchildren Jeremy and Jessica; sisters Josephine (Aloysius) Caines, Theresa (Raphael) Mahar, Geraldine (Eli) Rogers, Maggie (Jim) Doyle and Floria (Jerry) Murphy; brothers Moses (Iona), Jim (Clarice), Prim (Augusteen), Vic (Marina) and Joe (Alice); mother-in-law Von Plowman; sisters-in-law Sis, Mary, Louise and Wanda; brothers-in-law Harrison, Junior, Tony, Frank, Todd and John; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Moses and Mary Alice, sister Eudora, brother-in-law Raphael, father-in-law Francis Plowman and nephew Jeremy Caines. The family received friends at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Port au Choix on Sunday at 4 p.m. and Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. with Fr. John Hesse officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Filltre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
