(1939-2010) - IQALUIT, NUNAVUT - Yvette Barrieau 71, of Iqaluit, Nunavut passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10th, 2010. Born in Little Aldouane she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and late Laurette (Daigle) Robichaud. Yvette will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Alice Barrieau, Louise Barrieau both of Iqaluit, three sons; Paul Barrieau (Doreen) of Iqaluit, Louis Barrieau (Lena Akulujuk) of Ottawa, Bobby Barrieau (Kitty) of Kimmirut, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, three sisters; Lucille Daigle (late Emile) of Richibucto, Jacqueline Richard (Norman) of Richibouctou-Village, Rita Richard (Alfred) of Richibouctou-Village, one brother; Arthur Robichaud (Jeannine) of Little Aldouane, one sister-in-law; Diana (Daigle) Robichaud of Aldouane and many nieces and nephews. Yvette was predeceased by her husband; Arthur Barrieau, two sons; Yvon, Ronnie and four brothers; Marc, Jim, Ernest and Jacques.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
