Fielding, Lillion R. (Hinton), 81, of Truro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, after a brief illness. Born August 14, 1927 in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Rosella (Blois) Hinton. She is survived by her last family member, brother Ira Hinton (Phyllis); husband William “Bill”; son Bill (Kim), Michael (Elizabeth), daughter Carlotta Priest; step-children Joan Carter (Layton), Gary, Tony Fielding (Diane); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a son in infancy; brothers, Marshall, Archibald, George; sisters, Emma, Lydia, Clara, Georgina.Visitation will be 7 to 9 Friday and funeral service 11 am Saturday, all in Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, Truro. Dr. Brian Ross will officiate with burial to follow in Bible Hill Cemetery, Bible Hill. Family flowers only.
