1928 - 2010 - Villa du Repos, Moncton - Formerly of Saint-Paul-de-Kent, Claudia Marie Girouard, 82, passed away peacefully at the Villa du Repos, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Born in Cap-Pelé on March 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Eva (Cormier) Cormier. Claudia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Valmon; one daughter, Rachel Richard (Arthur) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; one brother, Gérard Cormier (Jeannita) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters, Eliza Goguen, Bertha Doiron (Gérard) both of Cap-Pelé; two grandchildren, Jolain and Milika; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters, Béatrice, Ainnée, Mathilde, Mélina, Claudine, Thérèse; and three brothers, Lionel, Adrice and Donat.
There will be visitations one hour before the Funeral Service at the Saint-Paul RC Church Slumber room in St-Paul-de-Kent on Friday, October 15 from 1 pm until time of the Funeral Mass at 2 pm.
