The passing of Leonard (Len) Ambrose Kennedy occurred Friday, October 15th, 2010 at the Palliative Care Unit of the DECH. Born in 1925, Len was the son of the late Michael William Kennedy and Minnie (McCauley) Kennedy.
Len was predeceased by an infant son, Hugh Leonard and brothers, Neil, Rev. Frank, Lloyd, Kenny and Leslie. He is survived by his wife, June Forbes Kennedy; son, Roy (Barb) Kennedy; brother, Ceicil (Edna) Kennedy; grandsons, J.J.(Kim) Kennedy, Ryan (Karen) Kennedy and great grandchildren, Carson, Claudia and Nolan.
At the family's request there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Monday, October 18th, 2010 at 11 am with Fr. Monte Peters officiating.
