The passing of Eva D. Henderson of Fredericton occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton N.B. on October 15, 2010. She was 88. Born in Barkers Point, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Amy (Smith) Bishop and wife of the late Maurice Fraser Henderson. Eva was a homemaker and a member of the Corbett Ave. Wesleyan Church.
A devoted and loving mom and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Dianna Finnamore (Norman) of Fredericton; grandchildren Donna Lee Storey (Mike Long) of Fredericton, Corey Finnamore (Kelly) of Dover, NJ; great grandchildren Joshua and Janisha Storey, Carrie Long, Michaela, Jonathan and Daniele Finnamore; sister Ferne Bishop of Gagetown; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Donna, sister Joyce Briggs, brothers Willard, Donald and Ronald Bishop.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd. on Sunday October 17, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held Monday October 18, 2010 at 2 PM from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pete Thomas officiating. Interment in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
