Reginald Thibodeau of Saint John, widower of the late Kathleen (Furlong) Thibodeau passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 15, 2010. Born 1943 in Meteghan, Digby County, NS to the late Bernadin and Dorothy (Saulnier) Thibodeau of Meteghan, NS. Regi worked for Sunbury Transport for many years and for Debly Enterprises in recent years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be missed by those who knew him. Reg is survived by his son Wayne (Michelle) of Italy Cross, NS; one daughter Heather Thibodeau of Digby, NS; brothers Vernon (Shelly) of Porters Lake, NS, Marcel (Collette) of Saulnierville, NS, Herbert (Marie) of Yarmouth, NS, Rene (Joyce) of Meteghan River, NS and Brian (Jeanne) of Saulnierville, NS; one sister Linda MacDonald (Dave) of Halifax, NS; step children Pat Morneau (Tammy) and Peter Morneau (Esther) of Saint John; six grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many many friends. Besides his father, Regi was predeceased by his wife Kathleen.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424). A memorial service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
