Passed peacefully away on June 10, 2009, George Greeley in his 81st year. Predeceased by parents John and Isabel, brother-in-law William Somerton, sister-in-law Vera Greeley and nephew David. Leaving to mourn with many wonderful and loving memories sister Beatrice Somerton; brother William; special niece, Sylvia; nephews: Wade (Gloria), Doug (Debbie), Tom (Heather), Glen (Rhonda), Grant (Kathy), Derrick (Lori) and niece Shirley; nine great-nieces; three great-nephews and one great-great niece. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request.
