Passed peacefully away on Friday, June 12, 2009 after a short illness, Mr. Douglas G. Snow, Three Island Pond, Paradise, aged 88 years. Predeceased by his first wife Marnie (nee Wilson). Left to mourn his wife Grace (nee Hoddinott, formerly Norman); son Hal (Julie); daughter Kathryn Snow (Neal Ludlow); sister Vera Stokes; grandson Vance Lono; Grace’s children: Brenda Norman (Artan), Glenn Norman (JoAnn), Wayne Norman (Brenda) and their children and grandchildren; niece Jo-Ellen Welsford; nephews: Fred Welsford, Douglas Stokes, Paul Stokes, Greg Stokes, Glenn Stokes and Alan Stokes and all their families. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
