Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family, Frederick Maxwell Summers, age 60 years. Predeceased by his parents Augustus and Mary (Stone); brothers Harry, Gus, Ches; sisters Josephine Chubbs and Margaret Foley, also very special life-long friends Paul and Brenda Reardon. Leaving with fond and treasured memories are his wife of 36 years Trudy (Dodds); three devoted daughters Lori (Joey), Danah (Jason), Jennifer (Raymond) and the light of his life his four beautiful grandchildren Kerilyn, Breanna, Brady and Dylan. Also leaving to mourn his brothers John (Irene), Edward (Sharon); sisters Olga Sheilds, Mary Metcalfe (John), Carol Hann (Woody) and Marie Mills (John) as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to Max and Maxine Mahon whose support will never be forgotten. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
