Passed peacefully away with her family by her side on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at her residence, Mrs. Connie Bursey, at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Pat Pullin-Séguin (Denis), Ottawa, ON, Linda Pullin (Fred Kilcup), Halifax, NS, Betty Lamont (Harry), Truro, NS, Cathy Chaisson (Bill), Corner Brook, NL and Joanne Pullin (Darryl Smith), Halifax, NS; daughter-in-law, Ruth Pullin, Little Rapids, NL; grandchildren: Andrew Pullin (Karin), Elizabeth Pullin (Peter Gordon), Stéphanie Séguin, Benjamin Pullin, Wendy Kilcup, Michelle Lamont, Timothy Lamont, Gregory Chaisson, Sarah Chaisson, Emily Chaisson and Alexsandria Ryan; great-grandson, Spencer Pullin; step-grandchildren: Nancy Djogbenou (Eddie), Paul Kilcup; step-great grandchild, Isaac; sister, Leitha Thorson, Calgary, AB, and brother, Alan Crue (Mabel), Summerside, PE; sisters-in-law: Marnie Pullin, Comox, BC and Dorothy (Don) Muir, Perth, ON; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Lloyd Pullin (1974); son, William (Bill), (1993); second husband, F.D. Bursey, (1998); grandson, André Séguin (2007) and brother-in-law, Norman Pullin (2007). Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Chapel, St. Marks Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Cole officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium, followed by a private family burial. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Daffodil Place or to the charity of one’s choice.
