It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Theresa Fudge announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories of 63 years marriage, her husband, Reginald; her children: Enos (Evelyn), Stephenville, with whom she resided, Basil (Audrey) of Deer Lake, Orvan (Joan) of Alberta, Lionel of Stephenville, Tony (Robin) of Deer Lake, Vida (Hugh) Porter of Port de Grave, Phyllis (David) Smith of St. John\'s, NL, Cora Saunders (Howard) of Stephenville and Brenda (Rodger) Sloan of Alberta; her 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and her brother, Stewart (Minnie) Roberts of Springdale. Mother was predeceased by her parents, William & Louisa Roberts; her brothers: Frederick, William, Walter and Samuel. Also leaving to mourn a circle of other relatives and friends. She will be resting at Russell\'s Funeral Home, Queen Street, Stephenville, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Thursday, June 11th, 2009 and on Friday, June 12th, 2009 from the hours of 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 12th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.; Major Terry Hopkins officiating. Burial to follow at the church cemetery, Wights Road, Deer Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation in Barbara\'s memory.
