Ian L. Mennie

Retired Professor of Physics at Memorial University of Newfoundland and accomplished musician and composer, Ian died peacefully at the Chalmers Palliative Care Unit, Fredericton, New Brunswick, after a long and arduous illness. Leaving to mourn his cherished best friend and devoted wife, Maureen and his precious daughters, Laura (Adam) and Sara (Wayne). He wished a special goodbye to his beautiful and beloved granddaughters, Hannah and Bridgett Sparkes. It was Ian's wish that his body be bequeathed to Dalhousie Medical school to assist in its medical research.
