The death of Paul William Stafford occurred unexpectedly on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1968 in Saint John he is the son of Joan (Pursey) Stafford and William Gerard Stafford. Paul loved his job at Xerox, enjoyed photography and loved spending time with his family. Besides his parents he is survived by his life partner Peter Alward of 21 years; brothers Fred Stafford (Barb) of Winnipeg and Stephen Stafford (Irene) of Saint John; sister Anne Marie McLaughlin (Danny) of Saint John; special cousin Carol Tynski (Stephen) and their children Nicole and Ryan; four nieces Shawn, Alicia and Danielle McLaughlin and Bobbi-Jo Stafford; great nephew Dustyn Stafford; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
