1909 - 2010 - Stella Cormier, 101 of Résidence Au Bénaise, Saint-Antoine and formerly of Cocagne, passed away on Sunday, October 24th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Moncton. She was married to the late Emile Cormier (1992). Born in Scoudouc on June 20th, 1909, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Surette) Boudreau. She will be sadly missed by a special niece Violette Cormier, her son Léo-Paul (Joanne) and there son Joey. She also leaves to mourn all of her friends at the residence, her caretaker Angèla Saulnier, and several nephews and nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Anita and Dora and one brother Alphonse.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Monday, October 25th, from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cocagne. In Stella's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
