At the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Monday, June 15, 2009, of M. Miriam MacArthur, formerly of Mill River, aged 86, wife of the late John MacArthur. Born in Knutsford on May 31, 1923, daughter of the late Edison and Betty (Woodman) Rayner. Dear mother of Clayton MacArthur, Grand Prairie, Alta. Stepmother of Wesley (Helen) MacArthur, Glenwood. Mother-in-law of James McKie, Milburn. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Sister of Isabelle MacNeill, Charlottetown. Also survived by her very close cousin, Margaret Murphy, Mill River. Predeceased by a son, Victor, daughters, Barbara and Sandra, and a brother, Harry. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Brae United Church Cemetery. Memorials to the O’Leary Community Health Foundation or Cancer Society would be appreciated.
