Smith, Leona Josephine - age 43 of Kellys Cove, Yarmouth Co., died October 15, 2010 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born December 19, 1966 in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of Elsie (Rhines) Gray and the late William Gray. Leona was a homebody, an avid bowler and bingo player. Beside her mother she is survived by her husband Wayne, daughter Candice (Jason) Clairmont of Brenton , Yar. Co., sons Wayne Smith Jr. of Halifax and Shayne at home. Sister Lili Muise of Raynardton, Yar. Co., Ida Frotten of Yarmouth NS and a niece Amanda. Three grand children, Devon, Victoria and Alexander. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by family request . Memorial service was held, Monday October 18, 2010 at 2:00pm from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Burial will be at a later date. Donations in memory of Leona may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 567 Main Street, Yarmouth, NS.
