WWII Veteran, Passed peacefully away at home in the arms of his loving wife, and granddaughter Sarah, on June 14th, 2009, George Rupert Clarke, age 90 years. Predeceased by his mother and father, his brother Raymond, infant son Donald, and three other sons: Rupert, Robert and Munden. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 66 years, Regina (Jean), daughters: Dorothy (Terry), Jean (Charlie), and sons: Harold (Marie), David (Marg) and daughters-in-law Rose, Lorraine and Sharon; also seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; as well as a cherished family friend Margaret Gordon. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, on Monday from 7 p.m. - 9p.m., on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service from Barrett’s Chapel, Mount Pearl on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 at 2 PM. Interment to follow at the Field Of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
