Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor in Bonavista on June 13, 2009. James Herbert Fox, age 80. Born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Newfoundland in 1973. Leaving to mourn with many wonderful memories, his loving wife Alma; son George and daughter Susan; daughter-in-law Cindy; son-in-law Bill; his cherished grandchildren: Alexandra, Lauren, Graham and Ryan; twin sister Barbara; sister Alexine; sisters-in-law: Shirley, Fanny and Millicent; brothers-in-law: Hughie, Howard and Burl. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Strathie’s Funeral Home in Bonavista, June 15 - 1 p.m. - 10 p.m., June 16 - 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral services to be held at Memorial United Church (Bonavista) June 17 at 2 p.m. Interment and Committal to follow at Lookout Cemetery, Bonavista. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NL Lung Association.
