Passed away at the Escasoni Complex on Sunday, June 14, 2009, Katherine Walsh, born in Brooklyn, New York, moved to Renews in 1978, age 70 years. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Marie (McCarthy) Walsh, her baby brother Jimmy, special aunt and uncle Anne (McCarthy) and Pat O’Neill and special cousin Jim O’Neill (Wacker). Leaving to mourn special cousin Pat O’Neill, uncle Paddy McCarthy, and many cousins of the Walsh and McCarthy families. We would like to acknowledge and thank Delores Walsh and staff of Walsh’s Personal Care Home in Bay Bulls for the love and care given to Katherine over the past 24 years. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at Holy Apostles Cemetery, Renews. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
