The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, June 14, 2009, of Erva Pearl "Dolly" Gregory (nee MacLeod) of Summerside, P.E.I., and formerly of Norboro. Dolly was born on December 10, in Mount Pleasant, P.E.I., to her late parents James and Pearl (nee Biggar) MacLeod. Beloved wife of Melford Gregory and loving mother of Pauline (Eldon) Gautreau of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Christopher (Chantell) and Carrie Gautreau and her great-grandchildren, Hayden and Griffin; along with several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother, David MacLeod of Freetown. Besides her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her first husband, George Nichelson; her daughter, Jean Nichelson; and her brothers and sisters, Pauline, Velma, Bernice, Aubrey and Vernon. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, June 17, 2009, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, 1 p.m. until time of service.
