Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 15, 2009, in the presence of her daughter at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre. Predeceased by her husband Herb, parents Arthur and Jessie Slade, sister Winifred Allen and brothers: Chesley Slade, Issac Slade and Les Slade. Leaving to mourn daughter Keely (Rob); grandsons: Keenin and Braden Coombs; sisters: Emily Butler and Vera Slade; sisters-in-law: Eliza Slade, Jen Slade and Francis Slade; brother-in-law Bill Allen; special niece Beryl Gallimore and nieces and nephews of both the Slade and Churley families and long time friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
