Passed on: October 28th, 2010
On October 28, 2010 Ralph Jimmy Kruger of Kamloops passed away at the age of 86 years.
He was born February 29, 1924 in Webb, Saskatchewan. He married Sheila (Francis) in 1954 and they gave their four children the life they never had. They are Benjamin Ralph, Karen Leigh (Slinger), Sandra Ann (Kennedy) and Douglas Michael. He loved his two grandchildren, James and Todd Slinger like is own. His son-in-law Thomas George Kennedy was his best friend; he called him his brother.
They enjoyed many days fly-fishing in the great outdoors. Ralph left home at an early age and joined the army and served as a Ram Tank instructor.
He then worked as a faller in the logging industry, strung the power lines along the railway through the Kettle Valley before he settled in a career of plastering. His last employment was with the City of Vancouver.
Upon retirement in 1989, he moved to Kamloops, where the fishing was good. Many happy times were spent camping and fishing. Ralph was a quiet man, but if you were his friend it was for life.
Ralph was a kind man who loved his family. We will never forget him. He will be forever in our hearts.
We would like to thank the friends at the Hospice Home for their phenomenal support.
There will be no service at Ralph's request, rather he'd like us to remember the good times and be kind to one another.
Should friends desire, donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S., Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9, in memory of Ralph would be appreciated.

"Daddy"
Fall is the beginning of renewal
With each leaf that falls; I shall remember you.
All those leaves represent my love for you.
Sleep sweet Daddy
Rest in a better place.
I shall not worry for you as I now know
you're in a better place.
Until we meet again; you live in my heart.
Love,
Your daughter Sandra
