Dorothy DeWitt

(September 14, 1916 - November 2, 2010) - The passing of Dorothy DeWitt of Perth-Andover, NB occurred on November 2, 2010 at the Victoria Glen Manor at the age of 94. Born in Upper Kintore, NB she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Olive DeMerchant. Dorothy is survived by one daughter Helen Wallace of Perth-Andover; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; four brothers Archie DeMerchant of Upper Kintore, Glenn DeMerchant of Perth-Andover, Ronald DeMerchant of Upper Kintore and Donald (Anita) DeMerchant of Hartland. Predeceased by her parents, husband Perry DeWitt, infant daughter Maxine, three sisters Hazel, Neola and Marita, four brothers Richard, Lewis, Earl and Nimrod.
Resting at White's Funeral Home 20 Industrial Park St. Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Friday, November 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6th at 2 pm from the Perth-Andover Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Fredericks officiating. Interment in the Perth-Andover Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Perth-Andover Baptist Cemetery or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
