At Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, November 9, 2010, Mrs. Evelyn Graye of New Denmark passed away at the age of 82. She was the wife of the late Charles Graye. Born at New Denmark in 1928, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Benthe (Schmidt) Neilsen.
She is survived by one son, Neil (Sandra) of New Denmark, two daughters, Valerie Hartley (Carl) of Springfield, NB and Rhea Petersen (Leslie) of New Denmark, daughter-in-law, Louise Graye (late Jerry) of London, Ontario, ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jerry and a sister, Anne Pharo.
Resting at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, New Denmark with visiting hours Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday, November 13th at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
