The death of Joseph Cleophas LeBlanc occurred on Wednesday November 10, 2010 at the Residential Hospice, Saint John. Born 1935 in Saint John he was the son of the late Mary Corinne LeBlanc. Joseph worked as a Caretaker for St. Joachim’s Church for 20 years, retiring in 2000. He is survived by his sons Harold LeBlanc (Debra) of Baxters Corner and Brian LeBlanc of Saint John; daughters Karen Cotton (Mike) of Fredericton, Terry Thorne (Bill) of Quispamsis, Nancy LeBlanc and Christine LeBlanc of Saint John; their mother Barbara O’Brien; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Cecil Bryar of Benton, ME; and sister Irene of Las Vegas.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday November 12, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church on Saturday November 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
