Yvon Clements, 82, of Pointe du Chêne passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born on Shediac Island, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Fougère) Clements. He was a retired employee with Paturel's Seafood. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, one daughter Joan O'Brien (Daniel Hicks) with whom he resided with in Pointe du Chêne, four sons: John (Jocelyn) of Shediac Road, Roger (Juliette), Marcel (Diane) and Guy (Rachel) all of Pointe du Chêne; two sisters: Bertha Gallant (late Robert) of Shediac and Nelda Fougère (late Clovis) of Grande Digue, nine grandchildren: Rachelle, Amanda, Corey, Lynn, Jamie, Jenny, Lisa, Jessy and Shawn; seven great grandchildren: Erika, Samantha, Tyler, Joshua, Brody, Kody and Audrianna and by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Doris (LeBlanc) Clements (2000), two daughters: Joanne and Rachel, a sister Yvonne Clements and by six brothers: Léo, Ted, Louis, Levi and Elie Clements.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. until time of departure at 9:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe du Chêne on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C.
