Patricia, loving wife of John Alty passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on November 10, 2010. Patricia was born in Saint John on September 27, 1952 daughter of the late William John and Elizabeth Angela (Butler) Humphrey. Family was everything to Patsy and a week rarely went by that her dining room table wasn't surrounded by her loved ones. Later in life Patsy enjoyed travelling with her family. She loved going to new places and experiencing new things with John. Aside from her husband John, Patsy will be sadly missed by her children, Alexis (Cory) Brown, David Alty, William "Billy" Alty, grandchild, Matthew Brown, brother, Peter (Jane) Humphrey, sister, Rosemary Janes, two nieces, Sayward and Hyacinth Janes and one nephew, Russell Janes as well as, John’s cousins, Carol Winson, Trevor (Margaret) Winson, and Joyce Bakker.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Castle Funeral Home “Fallsview Chapel”, with a reception to follow.
