1927-2009. Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on Tuesday, June 16th, 2009, with courage and integrity in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret (McDonald) O’Brien, sisters Mary Hartery (Joe), Margaret Tilley (Edward), brothers Bill (Ethel) and Leo (Margaret). Leaving to mourn one sister Anne Furlong (Denis deceased); several nieces and nephews, special nieces: Bernadette Hafey (Paul), Carolann Lincoln (Dave), Marcy, New York; special nephews: Austin (Carmel) and Michael; special friend Joe Kennedy (Elizabeth), as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 20th at 10:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
