Another year has slipped away,
And we still wonder why,
You had to leave our happy home,
While others get to stay.

Our children miss you just as much,
As if it were yesterday,
I guess they miss your friendly smile,
And for sure a mother’s touch.

You told me one November day,
As we were talking you and I,
Look after all our children,
And don’t worry, “You’ll be ok”.
