Beatrice was born on September 18, 1924 in Rosetown, SK and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Herb Basset Home. Following the depression she modeled in Toronto and Winnipeg for 5 years before moving to Vancouver, which was the love of her life. She resided there until failing health forced her to move to Prince Albert in 2002. She enjoyed bowling, gambling, hockey, horse races, spending time with friends, but most importantly her family. Beatrice loved and was very proud of her family, her son David (Florence) Heatherington; her daughter Heather (John) Watson and her grandchildren Brandon Watson, Nikie Watson, Kimara (Martin) Vido & their children Anya & Ayden, Brandy (Kurt) Friesen & their son Koen and Theresa “TC†(Jordan) Woodley & their children David & Morgan. She was predeceased by her husbands Irwin Heatherington and William Donald; her parents and her brothers and sisters. A special thanks to her doctor, Dr. Dale Ardell. Memorial Service
will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Herb Bassett Chapel, 1220 – 25th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas, Director Spiritual Care, Prince Albert Parkland Health Region officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550 – 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
