1950 - 2010 - Aldorie Girouard, 60 of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Saint-Paul on September 15th, 1950, he was the son of the late Clorice and the late Emerise (Duplessis) Girouard. He will be sadly missed by his spouse Linda McDonald, his four children, Nicole Daigle (Bernie) of Saint-Antoine, Gisèle Boucher (Michel) of Saint-Paul, Terry (Anita) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and Noël (Joanne) of Saint-Paul, and the mother of his children Aline (Pellerin) Girouard of Saint-Antoine, his two grandchildren, Paul and Amélie his two step-children, Daniel McDonald (Dawn) of Miramichi, Barbara Gaudet of Moncton, and four step-grandchildren, Coby, Braden, Amber and Cristal. He also leaves to mourn his two sisters, Jeannine Boucher (André Pellerin) of Moncton, Noëlla Saulnier (André) of Saint-Paul, and his three brothers, Paul (Géraldine) of Dieppe, Victor (Micheline) of Athol, MA, Léandre (Norma) of Saint John, and several nephews and nieces. Aldorie was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald, and Ulysse.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Paul Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Paul on Friday, November 19th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul Church on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 at 11:00 am with internment in the parish cemetery. In Aldorie’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
