Ruby M. Faulkner, 95, of Serenacare and formerly of Malton and Ingleside, Ontario, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday November 17, 2010. Born in New Bandon, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Bessie (Wright) Comeau. Ruby was a retired secretary with Ridgewood Elementary School in Malton, ON and was a member of the United Church of Canada. She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family and friends. Ruby will be sadly missed by her daughter, Karen Cook (Clark) of Moncton; son, Allan Faulkner of Essex, Ontario; grandchildren, Justin Cook (Emily MacEachern), Shannon Knighton Whalen (Jon), Erin Knighton (Scott Rowan), Richard Faulkner (Tara), Ryan Faulkner, Tiffany Faulkner and Melanie Tallent (John), Robert Faulkner (Carrie); great grandchildren, Aidan, Samantha, Paige, Alexis, Jasmine, Dakota, Tyra. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allan D. Faulkner (January 2000); brothers, Fred, Ken and Melvin; sisters, Thelma and Olive.
In keeping with Ruby’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Funeral Service will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 10:30 am, Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville, Ontario.
