Laurie Arsenault
It is with great sadness the family of the late Laurie Anthony Arsenault age 53 of Amherst, announce his passing on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at home.
Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Laurie R. and Maude A. (Ferguson) Arsenault.
Over the years, Laurie worked at Speedy Auto Glass and for the last five years he had his own lawn mowing business. He was well known for his kindness and generosity towards the elderly. He had a passion for clamming at Jacksons Point and was happiest when he was near the water, watching sunsets and being with Joni and his dog Jake. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Laurie is survived by his very best friend and companion Joni Haley Cadman, a son Michael of Amherst, a daughter Veronica of Halifax as well as Jolene, Raylene and Justine Gouchie whom he adored and helped to raise and held close to his heart. He is also survived by two sisters Darlene (Steve) Standring of Cambridge, ON and Debbie Anderson of Dartmouth, four brothers Ron (Debbie) and Gary both of Amherst, Jerry (Debbie) of Barrie, ON and Allan (Sandra) of Guelph, ON and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in Laurie's memory may be made for the purpose of purchasing a monument.
