Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, November 15, 2010, Leander Bradley Green, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Vera Green (nee Skiffington), 1971; brother Bob Green; step-brothers: Harold, Alison and Raymond; step-sisters: Lillian and Margaret. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Roger Green (Toni) and Rick Green (Cynthia); grandchildren: Devin, Shannon, Bradley, Mitch, Matthew, Stephen and Kelly; sister Jean Coates; step-brother Robert and step-sister Minnie; very special friend Bertha Melendy; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Wesley United Church on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
