Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, November 20, 2010, of William "Kevin" Bannister of Belfast, age 60 years. Loving husband of Margaret (nee Young). Much loved father of Kevin (Susan) Dartmouth, N.S., Robert (Adrienne), T.J. (Paula) and Chris (Angela), all of Calgary. Special grampie to Jessica, Cody, Emma, Jakob, Benjamin and Taylor. Also special stepfather to Darlene White (John), Joanne Vessey (Carey), Billy White (Lori), Jamie White (Tara) and Randy White (Holly) and special grandfather to Danielle, Zachery, Chance, Alex, Cody, Calvin, Leah, Reagan, Mitchell, Makayla and Shelby and great-granddaughter Chloe. Dear brother of Wayne (Sylvia), Moncton, N.B. and David (Arlene), Pictou, N.S. Also survived by sister-in-law Linda White, Montague and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Ruth (nee McIvor) Bannister. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment later in the Little Narrows Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
