It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Ba on Nov. 20, 2010, at home.
Ba was born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late Henry and Christine (MacEachern) MacKay.
He worked as a miner in collieries 26, 18 and 12.
Ba is survived by his wife of 43 years, Catherine; and his children, Sylvester Jr. (Tanya), Halifax, Albert (Elaine), Sydney River, Mary (Finky), St. Peters; twin brother, John, New Waterford; brother, Adrian, Moncton; sisters, Girlie Gillis, Victoria, Annie May, Toronto; along with three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brother, Danny and sisters, Florence and Vivian.
Visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. in T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel Tuesday, Nov. 23, as well as Wednesday, Nov, 24 from 10 a.m until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. both in St. Mary’s Church, Big Pond, Fr. Maroon will officiate.
