The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, of Eileen Richard of Summerside, aged 96 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lily (Kenny) Carver. Survived by her daughter Sharon Lee (Wayne) Keough, Summerside; grandchildren Michael (Bev), Lee Anne (Denis), Jeff (Jodi), Sue (Steve), Darren (Tammi) and Shawn (Dia-Lynn); six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; daughter-in-law Connie Richard, Ottawa, Ont.; sister-in-law Mildred Carver; and special niece Cheryl Hellard. Predeceased by her husband Benjamin “Bennie” Richard; son Duane Richard; sisters Vivian Perry and Muriel Moore; and brothers Cecil, Leroy, and Harold Carver. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, (98 Water Street - private entrance in rear of Waterfront Mall), until Saturday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 7-9 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Wedgewood Manor Memorial Trust Fund would be appreciated.
