The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, of Victor Doucette of Summerside aged 64 years. He was born in Palmer Road on Dec. 11, 1945, the son of the late William I. and Mary Anne (Gallant) Doucette. Dear brother to Louisa (Melvin) Arsenault, Toronto, Ont.; Aldon (Sandra), Summerside; Janette Phalen, Toronto, Ont.; Julia Doucette, Pleasant View; Joseph, Palmer Road; Leona Delaney, Alberton; Thelma (Gussie) Doucette, Pleasant View; Paul (Sandra), Summerside; and David (Pat), Palmer Road North. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William and Mary Anne, sisters Lydia and Julia, brothers-in-law Melvin Doucette, Frank Chaisson and Ian Arsenault. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of Prince County Hospital or Immaculate Conception Cemetery Fund or Fr. Ellsworth Scholarship Fund would be greatly appreciated.
