It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Jessie Butler announces her passing at the St. Joseph's Health Center in Guelph, Ontario, on Friday, November 19th, 2010, at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son; Ted (Kay) Crocker of Trout River, N.L., her grandchildren; Ruthann Crocker of Guelph, Ontario, & Kathy (Mark) Stoehr of Orangeville, Ontario, her great grandchildren; Samantha Salisbury, Jacqui Salisbury, & Terry Crocker, her siblings; Mrs. Leah Brake of Trout River, Bernice Hardy of Edmonton, A.B, Gerald (Lena) Crocker of Cox's Cove, & Gurney (Phyllis) Crocker of Cambridge, Ontario, her sisters in law; Classie Crocker, & Joyce Crocker, brother in law; Robert Brake, mother was predeceased by her husband; Garfield Butler, parents; Martha & Wallace Crocker, her siblings; Charles (Edith), Harvey, Bramwell, Rex (Nora), Walter, Kitchener, & Rebecca, her brother in law; Cecil Brake and sister-in-law Elsie Buffett. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army Church in Trout River in Alice’s memory would be graciously appreciated by the family. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Salvation Army Church in Trout River, N.L., on Monday, November 22nd, 2010 from the hours of 7 – 9 pm. where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesdsay, November 23rd, 2010, at 2 pm with Major: Leaton Patey officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Trout River, N.L.
