It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clarence Lukeman announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on June 21, 2009 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Kathy (Robert Crewe) of Corner Brook, Judy of Mount Pearl, Darline (Randy Reid) of Fort McMurray, Christina (John Farrell) of Fort McMurray, grandchildren; Michael, Kassie, David, Tyler, Chantelle, Rachel, Jasen, sister Mary Walbourne of Fogo Island, sister-in-law Dot (Cliff Parsons) of Deer Lake as well as a large circle of relatives, friends, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Bridget Lukeman, wife Bernadette Lukeman (nee Prosper). Visitation will take place on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mount Bernard Ave. at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gracefully accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital or Roman Catholic Church Fund.
