MAIR, Mavis Louise – 99, of Tidal View Manor in Yarmouth, passed away in the Manor on November 17, 2010. Born in Jamaica on February 19, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Bogle and Marcella Mair. Mavis lived with Sandra and Vinton Crawford in Ottawa for 25 years, later moving to Pubnico in Yarmouth Co. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by husband, William Mair; brother, George Bogle. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. There was no visitation or memorial service. Interment will take place at a later date in Pine Crest Cemetery, Ottawa. Donations in memory may be made to the Argyle & Pubnico Baptist Church.
